PRESS OPERATOR – C SHIFT
Pay: $16.82 Per Hour
Location: Northeast 12001 Railroad Dr, El Paso TX 79924.
Scheduled Shift: Wednesday 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Thursday – Saturday 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Monitors the efficient operation of press equipment or processes. Changes on sound, speed, material flow, physical movement, noise, smell or leaks report problems to the supervisor.
Searches for tile quality defects in the manufacturing process, doing a complete detailed inspection after any change.
Performs safely minor adjustments to equipment using the provided basic tools as needed. (Pneumatic die cleaning nozzles, metal scrapers and discs, linear top and bottom brushes, Tampico brushes, scotch pads, guides, sensor clean or minor adjustments...etc.)
Follows inspections and task frequencies per standard operating procedures.
Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
Promotes and adheres to all safety and health policies and procedures of plant.
Complete all required training, including ergonomic, safety, health and environmental.
Identifies and adjust workstation arrangement, work practices, and workflow to reduce risk factors
Report issues to supervisor/manager when unable to control risk factor/s.
Report symptoms of injury/illness and concerns when first noted.
Participate in incident investigation.
Use ergonomic equipment provided
Demonstrate safe work practices.
Performs other related duties as required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
0 -1 year previous manufacturing/production experience.
