The Marketing Specialist is an established performer who works to facilitate and support General Marketing functions and projects by utilizing a strong knowledge of industry practices and standards. This role is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of various marketing activities.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:

  • Develop marketing materials for various platforms.

  • Facilitate execution of customer requests to ensure delivery expectations are met.

  • Collaborate with managers to develop and execute projects.

  • Analyze market data and identify key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

  • Monitor the accuracy of all marketing materials.

  • Provide accurate and timely proofing, fact-checking, copywriting, editing, and formatting assistance during the creation of new product launch marketing materials.

  • Execute the implementation of merchandising programs for various initiatives, and collaborate with merchandising programs manager to systematically report on key metrics.

  • Assists with marketing campaigns as part of the strategic annual plan to expand market share and pursue aggressive growth targets.

  • Facilitate day-to-day marketing support for various teams.

  • Help manage and strategize the development of product sales tools and marketing campaigns to support product launches.

  • Develop training materials as needed for new initiatives as needed.

  • Work on projects and assignments as part of a large work team.

  • Perform accurate analyses, conduct research, and draw meaningful conclusions about potential job/work-area impacts.

  • Draw from prior experience, interpret facts, and identify incomplete data/anomalies to solve problems.

  • Use innovative solutions to enhance personal work and, where applicable, the work of the team.

  • Provide guidance and assistance to entry-level professionals.

  • Influence others within the job area through explanation of facts and policies to resolve routine issues.

  • Perform other duties as needed.

Required Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

  • 2-4 years of job-related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Good understanding of current and trending digital technologies.

  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Spark, and Premiere.

Competencies:

  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite products.
