Dal-Tile is seeking a Talent Acquisition HR Coordinator to join the Talent Acquisition Team. This position will provide a wide variety of support for the Talent Acquisition department. This position is located at the Dallas, Texas corporate office.

  • Manages pre-employment drug screening and background checks, providing subject matter-expertise to guide partners on final decisions.

  • Manages candidates and talent pipeline in SuccessFactors.

  • Advises hiring managers around employee start dates, such as account creation, onboarding activities, and data management.

  • Tracks I-9 and E-Verify compliance for new hires.

  • Writes and revises company HR policies to center remain competitive and center team members.

  • Leads company LinkedIn strategy with a focus on producing content, increasing followers, and improve engagement rates to grow the company’s appeal.

  • Leads multiple simultaneous projects aimed at refining, improving, and standardizing the recruiting and hiring process.

  • Monitors, audits and reports on key metrics and functions on an on-going basis by working within HR systems (SuccessFactors).

  • Coordinates the onboarding of all selected foreign candidates, including those who are sponsored for a green card.

  • Supports defined functional areas within HR in all areas of administrative services and special projects as needed.

  • Reports progress to company leadership on recruiting status of high priority positions.

  • Researches confidential employee data and runs reports as needed.

  • Provides basic administrative support, i.e. maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, arranging travel, auditing expense reports, ordering supplies/catering, answering phones, opening & distributing mail, drafting communications and presentations, etc.

  • Serves as back up for other HR Coordinators in the department when needed.

  • Manages vendor compliance including contract renewals, liability insurance, and rate negotiations.

  • Monitors team progress on weekly goals, working to ensure timely project completion.

  • Maintains compliance in areas of responsibility (hiring, SOX audits, immigration, etc).

  • Maintains document control of forms, policies, and procedures (MoShare, Handbooks, and supplemental documents).

  • Drives continuous improvement in area of responsibility by streamlining or automating processes, communication, training, etc.

  • Updates and maintains resources for hiring managers, HR partners, and new employees about the hiring process, benefits, and other topics.

  • Keeps supervisor informed of work in progress and any problem areas.

  • Tracks and reports progress to company leadership on recruiting status of high priority positions.

  • Creates and presents offer letters for new hires, promotions, and internal transfers at all levels of the organization.

  • Coordinates with HRIS, compensation, recruiters and other HR partners to verify offer details and ensure accuracy in all systems.

  • Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned.

Knowledge and Experience Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience, degree preferred. Knowledge of HR practices and processes preferred.

  • 1+ years experience as a recruiter preferred

  • Excellent customer service skills. Strong computer skills in spreadsheets, charts, and word-processing. Strong oral and written communication skills. Basic math skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Confidentiality a must.
