Recruiting Profile:

Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Graphic Designer to join our TEAM! As the Graphic Designer, we need someone who is ready to design templates using Styles and Tables in InDesign across all brand marketing merchandising tools.

Primary Objective:

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for the production of sample boards, literature, labels, packaging, and any other print and publication collateral for Brand Marketing initiatives.

Major Function and Scope:

  • Creates and manipulates product photography as needed.

  • Handles design process from conception to final production, and highly skilled in print and pre-press mechanical production.

  • Implements design templates using Styles and Tables in InDesign across all brand marketing merchandising tools.

  • Strong color skills and ability to color check photography and adjust RGB/CMYK values.

  • Applies proper naming conventions and maintaining all digital files for graphics services on a continuous basis.

  • Gathers electronic images for print and web support.

  • Supports internal and external customers.

  • Experience and Knowledge Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with major in graphic design or visual communications.

  • 3 or more years’ experience in graphic design.

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, and FTP client software, Microsoft Office Suite, and FTP client software.

  • Proficient with Styles and Tables in InDesign, photo manipulation, and packaging files to be press-ready a must.

  • Packaging and carton design experience a plus.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with shifting priorities including but not limited to, design and production responsibilities and administrative tasks

  • Ensure that assigned projects are completed on time and meets set objectives.

  • Strong time-management skills.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Reflect a professional and proficient approach when communicating with team members and customers.

  • Keep an open line of communication on project status with Graphics Manager, Brand Managers, and all project owners and team members involved.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Understands hierarchy of communication and workflow within the department.

  • Attention to detail a must; strong proofreading skills and ability to produce high quality work without errors.

  • Ability to understand and interpret both conceptual and technical specific information.
