The NATIONAL GAUGED PORCELAIN INSTALLATION MANAGER will provide product information and installation guidance for detailed specifications to install gauged porcelain panels on interior and exterior, horizontal and vertical surfaces, including exterior cladding systems.
Panoramic Gauged Porcelain responsibilities:
Establish him/herself as the category expert and primary resource for all sales associates regarding product and installation of gauged porcelain panels.
Read and interpret architectural drawings as required to insure proper specification of material and recommend any changes to improve product yield or product performance.
Provide technical and installation assistance/information to internal and external customers.
Leverages industry knowledge and technical expertise to gain sales with new and existing customers.
Supports National Accounts, architectural reps, sales reps and managers as required.
Fosters repeat business through hands on customer care and communication on assigned projects.
As the industry expert, continuously seek out new and innovative products to aid our customers in the handling, fabrication, and installation of gauged porcelain panels.
Work with Marketing to update information regarding training tools and manuals.
Travel as requires to meet with prospective and existing clients to educate and promote the successful specification and installation of Panoramic Gauged Porcelain panels.
Exterior Cladding responsibilities:
Assist with the development and implementation of the Dal Tile Exterior Cladding program focusing on gauged porcelain panels and porcelain/natural stone tiles.
Be the key resource for the Cladding Champions and Regional Stone Project Managers.
Work closely with the sales associates and customers to help them with the proper design and installation requirements to insure the finished project will meet both the customers design and financial expectations.
As the company’s industry expert, be aware of competitive systems and make recommendations to Marazzi Engineering as part of our quest for continued product/process/system improvements based on market/competitive changes.
Travel as required to
train field associates.
make presentations to architects, engineers, developers, general contractors.
meet with installers to review installation methods and processes.
act as laison, as required, with Marazzi engineering and/or HyComb.
Education and Knowledge:
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or similar work experience. – highly preferred.
Strong architectural blueprint plan skills.
Working knowledge of field and trades a plus.
Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
Highly organized while managing and documenting multiple and wide-ranging projects in a fast paced environment.
Ability to function with minimal supervision and project ownership.
Good composure when facing challenging situations – solution oriented.
Computer skills preferred of MS Word, Excel, Power Point.
5-10 years porcelain and/or stone tile sales or specification/installation expertise.
5-10 years project management and/or estimating.
