Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Distribution Project Coordinator to join our TEAM!

As the Distribution Project Coordinator, you will be working alongside our Distribution Project Manager to see various warehouse projects to completion!

Primary Objective

Works alongside our Project Manager to help coordinate various projects for multiple Distribution Centers and follow up on their progress.

Provides a wide variety of administrative support to the Distribution Project Manager. Helps with Distribution enhancement projects, and works with various warehouse software to ensure that reports are completed and analyzed.

Completes other duties as assigned.

Major Function and Scope

  • Review equipment proposals.

  • Review Easy Metric request que.

  • I-Warehouse quarterly system review

  • Research vendors used for the Distribution projects.

  • Managing the documentation for the setup of new vendors.

  • Annual review of fixed asset lists for multiple Distribution Centers.

  • Document, track, and report on the status multiple Distribution projects.

  • Create and maintain Power Point presentations for multiple Distribution projects.

  • Document and maintain active listings for powered industrial trucks in the Distribution network.

  • Performs other duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience, degree preferred.

  • Knowledge of Distribution & Logistics /Supply Chain

  • 1 or more years of administrative experience

Competencies

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Must be a self-starter who can work with little supervision and/or direction.

  • Strong verbal/written communication skills.

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power point.

  • Knowledge of CAD preferred.

  • Critical thinker; Strong analytical aptitude and attention to detail; problem solver.

  • Excellent computer competence: Comfortable working with complex software systems; including SAP, Excel, and various warehouse management systems

  • Organized: Ability to multitask and prioritize; results oriented.

  • Strong interpersonal skills: A team player that communications effectively at all levels, both internally and externally; relationship builder.
