The National Account Manager will manage the sales and profitability of products sold by Dal-Tile. You will maximize sales, grow share, and develop new opportunities for systemic sales growth. Other key responsibilities include ensuring our products, delivery and store sales performance continue to positively differentiate Dal-Tile from the competition while maintaining Dal-Tile’s position as the preferred source for tile. This position will be located in Atlanta, GA, and will require up to 30% travel.


  • Be an integral part of the sales team by

  • Identifying potential areas for growth

  • Assisting in developing growth plans and product line reviews

  • Providing feedback to the company from the on-going surveillance of the competition

  • Taking part in all meetings as scheduled

  • Interfacing with all functional areas within Dal-Tile and the Customer

  • Managing efficiencies and maximizing space constraints through strategic POS analysis

  • Work cross functionally to successfully execute programs in-store

  • Meet with the Replenishment team weekly to proactively manage orders and maintain adequate on hand stocking levels

  • Writing promotional host orders for peak selling and seasonality trends

  • Making themselves available to buyers for data analysis, POG development, etc.

  • Regularly evaluating sales performance by

  • Analyzing sales information to identify sales trends

  • Preparing periodic sales reports and business plans

  • Providing input to Marketing on products, packaging, merchandising and advertising

  • Work both independently and with Sales Leadership and the Dallas Marketing Teams to assist in growing the HD business with Dal-Tile

  • Review and report weekly on sales data with the focus on early identification of opportunities and challenges

  • Review and report weekly on forecasting and shipping data with a focus on early identification of opportunities and challenges

  • Work with the E-commerce Team to develop an integrated Omni-Channel presence between HD and

  • Extend the aisle between store POG’s and online programs

  • Focus online initiatives to bridge HD market strengths with Dal-Tile corporate strategies

  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred

  • Expertise and/or working knowledge of home center business practices preferred

  • Knowledge of ceramic tile and/or hard surface flooring industry preferred.


  • 5 or more year’s sales and/or management experience with a concentration in home centers, preferrable Home Depot


  • Leadership, organizational and sales skills

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Strong customer service orientation, problem solving and the ability to multi-task

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
