The Ragno Regional Sales Manager of Distributors is responsible for achieving sales budgets, solid margins and program development for all customers assigned to them. You will coordinate all sales and promotional activities as well as travels in the field, conduct training and assisting both the residential sales and architectural representatives in their respective roles. Your goal is to increases product sales within assigned region to achieve company objectives. Developing and retaining an effective working relationship with regional distributors to maximize product sales is essential to the success of this position. You will part of a team of dedicated industry professionals who are committed to the mentorship and development of their team members. This position could also be located in Northern New Jersey, greater Pittsburgh, PA, greater Cleveland, OH or greater Columbus, OH.
Achieve net sales goals, budgets and other business objectives for each fiscal year.
Organize and execute an effective travel plan geared to sell and achieve other job responsibilities.
Schedules and hosts business meetings geared to sell tile.
Develop business relationships with key distributors within their region.
Clearly define goals and objectives to measure performance and communicate these objectives to distributors on a regular basis.
Communicate and work closely with distributors to maximize market penetration and margin potential.
Develop and implement strategic plans to accommodate corporate goals.
Advise distributors regarding business strategies
Meets with key distributor personnel to negotiate and close sales
Represent the company at trade meetings to promote company and product.
Education and Knowledge:
- Extensive working knowledge of residential/dealer/distributor sales.
Ability to develop and maintain cooperative relationships.
Strong business acumen.
Ability to understand and develop business plans.
Strong communication skills.
