The Compliance Project Manager is a leading performer that leverages extensive compliance expertise in overseeing all application and compliance aspects for the Countertop Division. Maintains comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of contractor licensing compliance. The Compliance Project Manager drives the Countertop Division’s commitment to operational excellence and regulatory integrity. This role is a key point of contact for policy, auditing and monitoring, risk management, investigations, reporting and documentation, in addition to fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:

  • Oversee all Contractor License applications and compliance aspects for Countertop Division 50 states.

  • Proactively investigate and/or lead investigations of alternative compliance approaches, technologies, or partnerships.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all licensing, bond, and filing fees.

  • Conduct in-person testing when required.

  • Provide expert coaching on job issues and outsourcing.

  • Handle all compliance aspects of contractor licensing.

  • Establish and maintain positive business relationships internally and externally to support compliance goals.

  • Schedule tasks and coordinate with various team members to achieve compliance objectives.

  • Proactively investigate and/or lead investigations of alternative compliance approaches, technologies, or partnerships.

Required Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

  • 6-8 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Competencies:

  • Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field.

  • Recognized cross-functionally as an expert within one or two subject matter areas.

  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.

  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.

  • Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.

  • High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.
