Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Regional Sales Manager- Roofing to join our TEAM! As the Regional Sales Manager - Roofing , we need someone who can step in and provide leadership and sales expertise, including managing independent reps, pursuing strategic contractor and distribution partnerships, and developing pricing strategies while increasing sales.
Position is responsible for Southeast area covering Florida, Alabama, Georgia, N.C, S.C, Tennessee and can be based of respective states. Candidate prefferred location is Florida
50-75% Travel Requirement
Increase roofing product sales within assigned region in order to achieve company objectives.
Major Function and Scope
Achieves revenue, budget and other business objectives for assigned region.
Analyzes and develops effective pricing and price strategies.
Develops business relationships with key distribution partners, roofing contractors, builders and architects within assigned region.
Defines goals and objectives and communicates objectives on a regular basis.
Manage team of independent sales rep groups.
50%-75% Travel Required
Performs other assigned duties as required.
Experience and Knowledge Required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Extensive working knowledge of roofing sales.
Five plus years of related sales and management experience.
Self-starter, strong communication skills, exercises independent judgement, ability to develop and motivate sales force.
Excellent customer service skills. Strong CRM and Excel skills. Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good organizational skills. Must be comfortable presenting and able adapt and embrace new technical details.
