The Sales Specialist is an established performer who helps implement initiatives and promotions, coordinate material inventory, and research top commercial projects and new businesses. This role is also responsible for compiling customer analysis, providing training support, monitoring team sales progress, and proposing improvements.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:

  • Ensure protocols for fabrication, installation, and maintenance procedures are met, and assist with developing marketing materials to support field services.

  • Help establish the core set of materials and schedule essential for training sessions.

  • Assist with the training of various partners, departments, and customers in all aspects of large porcelain slabs.

  • Provide support for installation technical issues to provide customers with a high level of technical knowledge to ensure products are installed properly.

  • Review product and installation guidelines with prospective partners and/or current customers for specifications compliance.

  • Help to inspect claims that may relate to product, fabrication, and installation; review issues and communicate and/or negotiate with sales or the customer.

  • Research and promote product offerings that best support sales and achieve performance success.

  • Perform accurate analyses, conduct research, and draw meaningful conclusions about potential job/work-area impacts.

  • Draw from prior experience, interpret facts, and identify incomplete data/anomalies to solve problems.

  • Use innovative solutions to enhance personal work and, where applicable, the work of the team.

  • Effectively apply functional, process, and procedural or technical knowledge to address business challenges.

  • Perform other duties as needed.

Required Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

  • 2-4 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Competencies:

  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite products.
