Dal-Tile TECHNICAL OPERATOR II in Florence, Alabama

Provide Changeover Tech’s and Glaze Lines tools and equipment needed to perform a Color Change.

Ensure safe and healthful working conditions, an organized work environment.

Work with Planning Manager and Shift Manager to learn Production schedule and prepare upcoming Color Changes.

Prepare all Color Change Paperwork.

Receive new rollers from Vendor and check them into Inventory.

Issue rollers to the glaze lines for upcoming color changes.

Check them back to inventory when production is over.

Track usage (printed Sqft) on all rollers.

Perform cycle counts to keep an accurate inventory.

Repair/Rebuild Spray guns. Keep organize Inventory of Spray guns.

Deco arm repair/rebuild. Keep organize and accurate Deco arm inventory.

Repair/Rebuild Spacers, collars, discs.

Create and maintain Master Spread Inventory.

Provide all needed for color changes (Paperwork, Rollers, Deco arms, Spray guns, Master spreads, Target Boards, etc)

Collect all spreads, deco arms, spray guns and boards that are no longer in use at the glaze line.

Repair Cuccolinis and paste screens.

Report and exchange accurate information between shifts.

Perform other duties as required.

High school diploma or equivalent experience.

At least two years of Glaze Line experience.

REQUIRED: Glaze Line experienced. Fork lift certified. Computer Skills.

Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability. Ability to understand and speak basic English.
