PRESS OPERATOR II
PAY: $16.84 per hour + $.50 night shift differential
SHIFT: 6pm to 6am
1 st WEEK: Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday (36 hours)
2 nd WEEK: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday (48 hours)
The PRESS OPERATOR II operates press equipment, inspects tile, and cleans areas as required by Department Manager. The operator will be required to monitor the efficient operation of press equipment. The operator will be required to perform other required job duties as listed by not limited to the following:
Inspects tile for quality defects in the manufacturing process.
Performs minor adjustments to equipment as needed.
Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to Department Manager.
Follows standard operating procedures.
Keeps area safe, clean, and organized.
Performs other related duties as required.
High school diploma or equivalent experience required. 1-year+ previous manufacturing/production experience. Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability. Ability to understand and speak basic English.
