Dal-Tile is seeking a dynamic and detail focused Supply Chain System Specialist to be responsible for the quality of software development and deployment for customer service related applications.
The major functions and scope:
System Support Specialist are responsible for the quality of software development and deployment for customer service related applications. They are involved in performing automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose. Some of the duties include analysis of software, and systems, mitigate risk and prevent software issues.
We are looking for a results-driven specialist to be responsible for designing and running tests on software usability. The specialist will conduct tests, analyze the results, and report documented observations. You may also interact with customer service contacts or developers to understand the requirements of the product/defect.
To be successful as a systems support specialist, you should have a working knowledge of software and test design, the capability to run through tests, and the ability to analyze the results. Ultimately, the tester should be result-driven, have good communication skills, and up-to-date knowledge of software programming and software test design. Additionally, development & execution of reports will be required. Assisting in all data elements supporting customer service life cycle interactions with customers.
Launch new software applications
Execute mass updates
Develop and conduct training sessions
Create Reporting (develop layouts; validation of data
Programs include but not limited to:
SAP (Systems Applications & Products)
(STO; SO; TM; Web-Dyn-Pro; EWM)
Sales Force (Service cloud; Communities Pro-Exchange)
Other: Domo/Service Cloud/SAP reporting
Red Prairie (WMS)
Competencies, Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred
3 to 6 years of related work experience, preferably in Manufacturing, Distribution or Logistics environment
Proficiency in written and spoken English
SAP and/or WMS experience preferred
After hour and weekend work required upon exception
