Dal-Tile is seeking a creative wordsmith that enjoys connecting with audiences through social media. The Social Media Specialist will play a key role in our growing business. This role will collaborate with other marketing team members to assist with social media management, social media campaigns and generating engaging multimedia content such as video, graphics, and more.
Major Function and Scope:
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced and current user in social media tactics and strategies for brands, both B2B and B2C. They will also have a deep knowledge and understanding of how individuals use social media, how they communicate, and understand how to reach those individuals.
Partner with Marketing Team members to create and execute social media campaigns across a variety of social networks.
Produce and edit images for social media use.
Develop long-term content plans and campaigns for all three brands.
Manage content calendar and work with marketing team members to develop and schedule content.
Own community management on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram as well as directory listings.
Manage our influencer marketing program as well as scout new influencers to increase Dal-Tile’s brand reach to the relevant audiences.
Grow our user-generated content through applications such as Pixlee.
Create flat lay images for social media content as well as our showroom pages.
Lead monthly social media education seminars for our showroom team as well as being the point of contact for all social media inquiries.
Experience and Knowledge required
2+ years of B2B or B2C social media marketing experience
Strong understanding of social media channels, content development, and social analysis
Experience creating successful content plans and campaigns across social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.
Experience gathering and interpreting data and metrics to measure impact of campaigns
Experience with Microsoft Office Products
Experience with Sprout Social, or similar Marketing & Social Media Management Tools
Strong writing and editing skills
Excellent communication skills
Forward-thinking, well-organized and detail-oriented
