The Regional Credit Analyst assists the Regional Credit Manager, in supporting both internal and external customer relationships. Follows credit and collection policies, procedures and practices as outlined. Makes collection calls on over due accounts, researches and resolves customer charge backs, reconciles customer accounts, and applies payment.
Make Collection calls on overdue accounts.
Release customer orders.
Research and resolve customer chargebacks,
Determine the root cause of customer chargebacks and, as needed, work with both internal and external customers to limit their occurrence.
Reconcile customer accounts, issue credit memos, and apply payments.
Provide administrative support for assigned area including, but not limited to – aging reports, filing, and correspondence, account write-off, account reconciliation, credit balance refunds, NSF Checks, communication within and outside of department, etc.
Maintain all assigned accounts within established performance standards; actively participate and contribute to group quality improvement processes.
Prepare spreadsheet analysis of accounts
Process Experian reports for Credit Limit Increases.
Provide credit references for customers as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED.
SAP experience preferred.
Knowledge of lien laws a plus
Moderate experience using MS Access preferred.
3 or more years of experience in A/R (collections & customer account reconciliation)
Cash application experience preferred.
Proven ability to work as a member of a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Solid typing and 10-key data entry skills.
Ability to work independently, analyze information, seek solutions, and multi-task with a high degree of accuracy.
Strong ability to interface with all company departments as necessary.
