The National Account Coordinator is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient coordination between the Company and its customers with a high level of service and support. Process sales orders and resolve customer product or service issues. Establishes and maintains positive business relationships, internally and externally, to promote Company goals. Significant level of interpersonal and communication skills required. Under directed supervision, following documented procedures and processing standards, performs basic duties related to customer service

  • Primary contact for national account clients to provide overall day to day service and support (order enter, stock check….

  • Proactively monitor and assess accounts for program and process improvement opportunities.

  • Work cross functionally with National Account Inventory and Account Specialist, transportation, credit, Supply Chain Management, and others as the Subject Matter Expert on National Account processes and the related assigned accounts to resolve issues and support clients’ needs

  • Support national account sales team by communicating account expectations to sales service centers which includes specifications, pricing, job names and availability

  • Work with inventory coordinator and/or national account manager on upcoming projects to ensure material availability

  • Reviews construction schedules to understand future business of assigned National Accounts and track completed projects for reporting

  • Maintain/update assigned system 360 national account order forms as needed

  • Utilize work order management software as required by clients

  • Communicate delays with projects to the client in a positive manner

  • Work with national account managers to assist with alternate selections when product has been discontinued or is temporarily unavailable

  • Work with Architectural Reps when noticing discrepancies in the national account database to ensure entries are kept current

  • Work with Sales service centers, National Account customers, contractors and general contractors to resolve problems, delivery discrepancies, delinquencies, etc. to maintain superior levels of service, while encouraging overall success and growth to the account.

  • Back up to National Account Sr Project Coordinator for RFI/RFP and contracts

  • Performs other related duties as required or as directed by GM of SSC’s Sales Operations and GM of Commercial and NA Accounts

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; or equivalent training and experience that provides working knowledge of the regulations, practices, and procedures concerned with the operations of National Accounts.

  • Proficient in MS Office Applications

  • Experienced in SAP

  • 5 or more years related experience in the operation of a Sales/Service center in the tile industry or in the durable consumer products industry

Competencies:

  • Core competencies include the ability to communicate knowledge and ideas effectively to associates at all levels in the organization. Ability to analyze data and apply results effectively, training/facilitator skills, and strong project management skills and abilities.

  • Competent in Microsoft Office software applications.

  • Experience with SAP, DOMO
