Dal-Tile is seeking a dynamic National Account Manager to develop new sales opportunities / maintain the business for large retailer. This National Account Manager will work closely with the Sales Leadership across multiple functions to help achieve financial and strategic initiative goal set for a large retailer within the business. Primary responsibilities includes supporting the internal and external implementations of proposals and strategies to achieve maximum sales volume and margin potential from account(s). This position can be located in Dallas, TX or Atlanta, GA.
Cultivates close working relationships with home center customer(s) developing and serving as liaison between Senior Leadership, Product Development, and Trade Marketing.
Develops annual and long-range goals and objectives.
Implements strategic sales plans to achieve corporate goals; including sales, margins, and profits.
Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, product pricing, and programs.
Analyzes sales statistics to identify trends and opportunities to assist home center customer(s) in promoting sales.
Lead Product Line Presentations with analysis, strategy planning, presentations, overseeing product samples and merchandising mock-up process.
Recommends product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from programs.
Analyzes and controls organization expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
Creates and delivers sales presentations.
Monitors and evaluates the sales programs and products of the competition.
Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of expansion.
Recommends and/or approves budget, expenditures, and appropriations for new program implementations, resets and program rebates.
Directs and interfaces with store service organizations for program compliance. Monitors service to maximize success of on-going programs.
Achieves and sustains outstanding vendor rating from customer(s).
Manages inventory control and stocking re-order levels.
Ability to travel for all various meetings that may be necessary for the business or for professional growth, up to 20% travel requirements.
Performs other business related duties as required.
Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Experience working with flooring or home center industries (Plus)
Knowledge of Corporate product flow, manufacturing, sales and pricing structures
Multiple market experience is a plus
Experience working with business Directors, Product Development, and Trade Marketing
Strong organizational skills
Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills
Strong analytical ability & confidence with numbers, able to draw conclusions & insight from data review
High attention to detail
Self-starter attitude with a passion to succeed
Strong ability to prepare and present concise reports in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
