Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional / to join our TEAM! As the National Account Manager - Obsolescence Sales, we need someone who is ready to provide a variety of support such as research and develop of new opportunities & customers in the area of slow-moving obsolete goods.

Primary Objective

Develops new sales opportunities for Dal-Tile within the Obsolescence segment of business to include general inventory excess, obsolete goods, dropped goods & seconds.

Major Function and Scope

  • Researches and develops new obsolescence sales opportunities in assigned geography.

  • Identifies new National Account sales opportunities.

  • Works with obsolescence project manager to ensure proper liquidation opportunities within established write-off dollars.

  • Researches, identifies, and responds to product and market trends.

  • Participates in external customer trade shows and internal meetings as required.

  • Builds and maintains strong working relationships with Mohawk counterparts in similar roles.

  • Performs other related duties as required.

  • Significant but manageable travel required

Experience and Knowledge Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. Strong familiarity of Dal-Tile product lines, knowledge of Corporate product flow, manufacturing, sales and pricing structures.

  • Multiple market experience a plus.

  • Experience working with Marketing Managers, Planners and Customer Service Personnel.

Competencies

Strong organizational, presentation & negotiation skills and the ability to prepare and present concise reports in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
